This is the website of the Neiss family in Corvallis, Oregon: Jason, Dawn-Marie, Jacob, Melissa, Jerry, Bethany, and Emily. Not to mention Oolong (dog), Winnie (dog), Saturn (cat), Peekaboo (cat), Gecko-Dude (leopard gecko), Daddy, Mommy, and Emily (three-toed box turtles), Thing One and Thing Two (red-eared sliders), various tropical fish, and a corn snake named Princess.

This site will be updated and prettified as Jason (your host)  has time and learns more about Joomla.

About us:

• Jason: the dad. Currently a Linux systems administrator working for Insight Global, contracting at IBM.
• Dawn-Marie: the mom. Currently a full-time student at Linn-Benton Community College. In her junior year (but still at the CC for the lower tuition) with most of the pre-requisites done for the switch to Oregon State University and dual-bachelor's degrees in Psychology or Public Health and Nursing.
• Jacob: Oldest son. A junior at Cal State LA in Los Angeles, studying English and communications in pursuit of a career in journalism. Plays bass guitar, hangs out in the clubs in Hollywood, and makes the girls swoon. Introduces himself as "Jacklyn Jane" on the Boulevard. Can be heard playing bass on the soon-to-be-recorded EP for the band Rock Stars on Mars.
• Melissa: Oldest daughter. Currently a freshman at UC Santa Barbara in California, majoring in linguistics and playng on the Ultimate Frisbee team. Her goal is to work at one the three-letter-acronym agencies. We'd tell you which one, but then they'd have to kill us.
• Jerry: youngest son. Currently in the seventh grade at Stoller Middle School in Beaverton, Oregon. Plays clarinet, saxamaphone, guitar, and bass; skateboards, and likes Slayer, the Sex Pistols, and Def Leppard.
• Bethany: Middle daughter. Currently in the fourth grade at Rock Creek Elementary School in Beaverton, Oregon. Is obsessed with The Sims video games and the Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel TV shows.
• Emily: youngest all around. A kindergartner at Garfield Elementary School in Corvallis, Oregon. Loves her dog Oolong, her computer, and her family. She did love her iPod, but she lost it in the black hole we like to call her room....

• Geneology site integration using phpgedview. I have family info dating back to the mid-1800's online, and other info dating back as far as the 16th century (I think) (DONE)
